Lean Africa to offer a one-day training to stakeholders involved in infrastructure development and financing
Lean Africa Consultants Limited, a project finance and Public Private Public advisory firm based in Kenya is organizing a training targeting the key stakeholders involved in the development and financing of infrastructure projects.
The one-day training scheduled to take place on the 4th of June 2021 will equip the participants with practical skills and knowledge on the mechanics of revenue, cost and cashflow planning and management in large infrastructure projects.
According to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Johnson Mwawasi, African governments are investing heavily in infrastructure projects so as to enhance the ease of doing business in their respective countries and also compete on the global space. This will present massive opportunities for the key stakeholders involved in the development and financing of infrastructure projects including contractors, suppliers, consultants and financial institutions.
There is however need for the key players in the sector to enhance their skills especially in revenue, cost and cashflow planning and management so as to ensure successful delivery of the projects. It is unfortunate that critical projects in the continent have been marred by inefficiencies leading to massive cost and time overruns being recorded in those projects.
Lean Africa Consultants Limited has been involved in various capacity building initiatives in project finance and Public Private Partnerships including the Africa Project Finance Program and the East Africa Infrastructure Project Finance Conference among others.
