Johnson Mwawasi brings on board vast experience in the management of multi-million dollar projects in the infrastructure sector in Africa. He is an APMG Certified PPP Professional, holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Finance (specialization in Public-Private Partnerships) from Middlesex University, London, Certificate in Construction Finance from University of Columbia, New York, a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting (First Class Honors) from Strathmore University, Kenya and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
Prior to founding Lean Africa Consultants Limited, Johnson worked for the Civicon Group, Isolux Ingenieria S.A, Economic and Commercial Office of the Kingdom of Spain and East Africa Breweries Limited.
