Oliver’s experience spans across corporate and commercial law. He has advised on various public private partnerships (PPPs), infrastructure, energy and oil and gas projects and transactions.
One of his highlight assignments was advising the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) on a privately initiated investment proposal (PIIP) from Kenya Airways (KQ) under the Public Private Partnerships (PPP) Act proposing the concession of certain operations and management of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to KQ.
He also advised the Public Private Partnerships Unit (the PPP Unit) of the Kenyan National Treasury, as part of the Genesis Analytics Pty-led consortium, on the development, operation and maintenance of students’ hostels under a public private partnership (PPP) model to be undertaken by Moi University, Egerton University, South Eastern Kenya University, University of Embu and Kenya Technical Trainers College.
He was part of the team that was ranked by Legal500 in Privatizations and Projects in 2020.
In 2019, he was also part of the team that was ranked by Chambers and Partners in five practice areas including Employment, and Projects & Energy.
Part of the team ranked by The International Financial Law Review (IFLR1000) in Financial & Corporate, Project Development, Infrastructure and Project Development: Power from 2017-2019.
