Tonderai is a Civil and Water Engineer and a Senior Graduate Member of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE) and also an Associate Member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering. He is passionate about climate adaptation, project management and sustainable finance.
He was accepted as a 2020 Fellow in the Tropical Landscapes Finance Facility, Jakarta - Indonesia and has shared knowledge in sustainable infrastructure finance at various fora including the inaugural BIDEM Caribbean Islands Investments Conference, the South African Institute of Electrical Engineering Conference and South African Institute of Civil Engineering’s Seed Conference.
Tonderai holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Science and Technology, Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. He is
currently pursuing a Masters of Leadership in Development Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany buttressing his project management skills with a deep understanding of project finance, accounting, strategy, risk and change management.
